hey guys just new to this site, from edmonton and working overseas right now just bought a new quad and have a few questions, do i need insurance and plates to ride in alberta? what trails are close to the edmonton area like an hour out of the city? as i will be home for two weeks in jan and not looking to go too far just want to ride closer to the city. Thanks hope to hear back from some of you.

Welcome to S&M Yes you will need a plate and insurance !!! Not sure about trails close to Edmonton..........closest to Wetaskiwin is Medicine Lake..........but never road in the winter !!

hey thanks for getting back to me, yeah heard there was a trail close to red water so im going to look into it today im not back home till jan 2nd so still have lots of time to look into this i gusse, going nuts just want to ride
