Just bought a place about 6min south of Alberta Beach and 10 from Wabamun. 10 acres. Moving from a cookie cutter neighborhood in Calgary. Grew up with a couple acres but this is mostly new to my wife and I. Lots to learn...and teach our one year old son.

How many members in the area?

Only been trail riding once or twice as a kid but really looking forward to getting the little guy out on the lake riding and fishing

We’re at lake isle. 20 mins away. Lots of good riding out there. If we get decent snow. Easy access to Lakes. Groomed trails. Rivers. Grazing reserve. Decent ditches

It's God's Country out this way! there are quite a few of us on here that live close by to you.... Even a ride along side of the Yellowhead can be a blast! Watch out for the Ditchalanches! Welcome to the area.

I have a house out on lake isle, just west of you. I do lots of ice fishing, hockey and sledding out there in the winters but haven't really gone for a tour on the sled yet. I plan on checking out some of the trails around there this winter, I have heard you can tour all the way to whitecourt

I can provide details about the Snowmobile Club Specifically if you are interested, but as everyone else has said there are lots of Snowandmud members in the area.....

The snowmobile club is very active, we have lots of improvements ongoing, and really are striving to get fresh faces and new ideas involved!

Last year we sold ~325 trail passes!

Nice! That's in silver sands? I'm on Lakeview road directly south of the camp and the island
Nice. You’ll love it out there. Silversands is the opposite end for me
I’m on the other end of the lake close to Gainford. I’m at the very start of the headwaters to the lake.

Sold the sled last year. Looking for a retro trail sled but I have a lot on my plate before I get to that haha. Hopefully next season

Does the club have a website or anything? Google doesn't seem to think so

Derek Drake and his wife fish Lake Isle quite a bit. Not sure how successful they are but I know she fishes quite a bit.
