Lucky bugger, I'll be fixing fence all weekend so cows stay off the highway. At least beverages will be involved.

Was up renshaw with quad yesterday and no snow to 23. Had to turn back as the deactivation ditches had to much snow in them to cross with quad alone.
Will decide in the next day or so if we will open the gate. I am thinking it will be open. Let you know.

Thanks for the update Barry,

We are looking forward to our Rhino / Sled trip this saturday.

I get to cross off another month in my "sled in every month" challenge.

After saturday I'll only have July and August left to cross off, not sure where I'm going to go for sledding in July and August, but we can dream

Rode Renshaw yesterday and did the cabin and trail clean-up. More riding than cleaning but the cabin is now clean. Joined by Steve,Rod,Wade,Garth,Will(Shifty),Dean(Dean10) and Jason(powderhound).
Great day of riding with warm weather and sunshine all day. Only took a few pic's but I am sure the rest of the guys will post when they get a chance.
Hauled sleds with quads to km23,rode 2 km on mud snow and water to get to the snow line. All white after that.

A couple more. The last 3 are some very new avy's and very big. Only good thing about this time of the year is they are not sliding to far.

REALLY GREAT RIDE BARRY.

Thanks again for letting us tag along, it was great riding with the whole group, this was our 3rd Annual Rhino/Sled spring ride, and it was by far the best one yet. The conditions were perfect. I cant wait to help clean the cabin next year.

I'll try to post a few of our pics tomorrow.

The gate up Renshaw is still closed. You can get around it with a quad and single wide trailer. Lots of other areas to ride as well. Renshaw is the only road that is blocked to truck traffic.

Gate will still be closed on the weekend to the Renshaw. We are going up Lucille. Unload at the snow line at the cut block.

Boys were up Renshaw for the last time today to dig out the last sled from our avy. Mission complete, sled is back in town at bit worse for wear. Blew an engine on the way in (Doo) and a tire on a Ranger on the way out. Hot today, over 30 and high humidity. One more ride for me, most likely Lucille on the July long weekend.

It was the only fatality avy we had this year. Took till now to get the last sled out. Safety first.
