Wife and I spent the last five days in Golden. Annual xmas vacation. Snow is a bit thin but deep enough to enjoy if you’re careful. Best part was meeting up with a random local three different times at two different areas. Hella nice guy. Chatted with him each time. Def gives the locals a good name with the friendly advice and good conversation.

rained all weekend around town to 5-5500ft. that said it wasn't much percipatation. silent would be your best bet, or somewhere around that area.

Not Sure
How was Silent?
Snow was good. Quite tracked out though but we don't know the area, so I bet you could find untracked. Avy hazard kept us from exploring.

We had been at Mcmurdo hut ski touring for a few days and only had a part day on Sunday sledding. We witnessed lots of cracking and nautural releases in the type of ski terrain we access. Steeper than anything you would sled on but still the conditions being what they are, we stuck to quite mellow and therefore tracked up areas in the sled zone.

Rode Quartz yesterday for the first day out . Not disappointed but wish the snow had been better . Needless to say needs a reload bad. Lots of land mines out still too.

Rode Gorman on Saturday.
Needs snow badly as overall low like everywhere else.
Crossed enough areas that we found untracked snow so we chewed it up.
Good ride, the modded boost worked awesome.
Sorry no pictures.

Group of us in Quartz on Friday. Snow was ok and Top of The World area had some decent snow in it. Trail in was in great shape!

Road Silent on Saturday and again, snow was ok in spots and just had to find the best stuff tucked away in the lower meadows and there was actually decent snow back in the Burn area. Trail in as also in great shape!

Thanks to the club for great trail access. Greatly appreciate it! Worth every penny!
