Does anyone have any experience with taking a drum of race fuel across the border. I'm taking a drum south with me in the back of a pickup. I know guys that take them across in enclosed trailers but what about in the back of a pickup when the border can see it? I assume it's fine, I know it's illegal to transport like 4 drums without some kind of license, but one is fine. Just wonderin about crossing the border?

As long as it doesn't exceed 45gal and it's properly labelled and secured you should be fine.
Bring your receipt with you for it and stop at the Canadian side before you cross and declare it with them so they don't give you any grief if you bring any back. They usually don't care about 45gal or less but better safe than sorry.
