There is a Accident by " Tete Jean Cashe " it happened about 3pm. Today....

There is at least 1 Fatality.....

Hi-Way # 5 is Still Closed....until 9 or 10:00pm...

If it is " Sooner " or " Later " I will keep You ALL Posted....

I also just Heard on the News that there was a AVALANCHE at Fernie Today....

12 Buried ....8 STILL MISSING....

They have called OFF the Rescue....It will be a " Recovery " tomorrow....

I am pretty sure they said that they were ALL Snowmobilers....

More News on that Story Tomorrow they said.....

Our thoughts and Prayers are with ALL their Family's ......

My wife and I just pulled in to the Blue Jewel this afternoon...we didn't have a reservation, but just happened to luck out as they had an opening!! The hospitality here is TOP NOTCH and I would highly recommend checking out this little diamond in the rough. The food is awesome too!! Thanks to Robin, Patti and Shelly...you guys rock:d

I just wanted to say that Jared and I had a great time staying at your house. It's a nice little place for a few guys, and the hot tub is awesome. We are looking forward to seeing you guys again, hopefully we have a couple more guys join us next time. The only disappointment of the whole trip was the fact that we had to leave, just as Blue River was getting pounded. It was hard to see Rig after Rig full of sleds passing us heading to Blue River, while we were leaving what we knew would be awesome conditions. Take care and see you soon.

Well...the snow definitely is deep up top!! If you hop of your sled in the fresh stuff, you you're up to anywhere from your belly button to your arm pits:d Thanks to my new turbo Nytro I didn't get stuck all day...unfortunately I can't say the same for my wife, but she fared really well considering it was her first adventure in the deep stuff!
It snowed another 3" in town last night - so today should be a good one
