I'm pretty sure I remember seeing this in a snow mag years ago. Maybe snowtech?

Seen that as well as long as no snow ingestion I have to agree way better set up than having the engine the other way around. Especially on the 1000 pretty tight in there

wheres the gas tank? Looks pretty light.

I wonder if you can even register/insur a sled like that? Reminds me of the redline snowmobiles that where out.

I find it neat it has an 800r in 2005 and in 2007 it still couldn't run lol, I remember the original magazine write up and I thought it was a reversed 1000 sdi, suppose to make 220 hp set up like that, pretty cool stuff.

You would have to totally insulate those pipes. Imagine being the guy doing all that prototype ch!t. That would be cool.

Thats crazy. I didnt realize they ever sold any protos. I had always heard they destroyed them. I remember it being a 1000 as well. Be cool to see some radical new design changes on the upcoming sleds. I think the biggest gains to be had at this point are in the drive systems. Be cool to find a way to get rid of the jackshaft/chaincase setups and come up with some kind of direct drive.
