How much savings total you expecting? From what I understand on the Etec it's about 2lbs and sometimes makes the sled run finicky.

So should I go pull my shield and insulation out of the trash then?? lol

I am getting my Y pipe and J pipe and TSS can all coated. Hopefully that doesn't make the sled doesn't run like chit, but I don't see why it would.

Interesting, but i doubt it would make the sled run like crap. I wanted to get the heat shielding and everything pulled off as i was pulling all the foam and stuff from the side panels and i figured why not. And if i could keep the heat down a bit more in the engine bay that would be great. In my eyes, less is better.

Haha, might be best to toss it in the shelf for now. Worth a shot, not a ton of money to try!
