Historically the 600 cats have been heavier than the 800s. Curious if that's still the case or not on the catalyst.

AC stated the 858 motor is a few pounds lighter then the 600. AC also told Snowest they are working on a few more areas to shed pounds.

Production sleds always are heavier than proto’s unfortunately

cant wait for a battle of the bottom of the hill with the new 858 Cat and the 9R Next season. Who can conquer the first 1/4 of the slope? who will be the winner? The 9R with the new 3.25 will still beat that 858 in the deep
The cat alpha track is what made the 800 a over achiever

Same thing to the po 3.25 , cats track is the best on the snow still

One of the best things about the Alpha was it's track. Even compared to the twin rail 3" power claw is a different beast.

The Alpha track on a twin rail turbo catalyst.... Might get my attention.

The 3.5" pitch has to be helping it a bunch, I never really cared for the power claw previously, but after spending some time on an alpha it's gets up and goes, similar to the G4/G5 doos, that make a pile of ground speed in a hurry coming out of the hole.

Looks like cat still has their demo event at frisby for the 30th. Kinda surprised they didn’t cancel due to the low snow?
