I’d normally have a new sled out of break in by now. I have no Interest unless the snow stacks up another 4-5 ft..
A lot can change with one storm.
Forecast is for 30" over the next 2 weeks in Mcbride. Maybe then we'll load up and head that way.
My turn to work through Christmas, only 3 days off total.
Boost should be ready to go by then.
Just not in a big rush to twist the sled no matter how bad I want to try it against a G5.

That sucks, my turn for a Xmas shift is coming soon as well.

I have been watching that forecast closely, and being patient. Hopefully more locals post conditions on here, I’m not on crackbook as previously mentioned, and I do appreciate the updates members put on here.

I’m off till Jan 1 after the 20th. Dunno if my sleds maiden trip will be revy, or Mcbride. Thinking about it, Even 60km of trail to the renshaw cabin would be ok for a rip at this point.
I have a trip scheduled for revy in January but would prefer to put some miles on the new sled closer to home first.
I will play it by ear.

Had two awesome days in renshaw. No breaks, definitely more snow as you go back. Think we put first tracks to spirit this season. Hopefully a reload comes soon guys.

Went to Lucille yesterday and the snow wasn't great, windblown in some areas, packed in others and if it wasn't packed there was almost no base. Cabin there also has barely any heat, only one heater is working and not well. Belle wasn't too bad, fair snow in some spots and the cabin was warm, as it was -28 when we were up there there were quite a few breaks taken to warm up until around noon, then headed out around 3 as it was cooling off quickly again.

We're waiting for parts for the heater. Unfortunately people who haven't got a clue what they are doing can't leave the heaters alone and end up ruining them.

Had a blast on Belle today. Still sketchy in places that are exposed to the wind but getting some accumulation in the trees now.

Awesome! How old is your boy? I took the whole family out last year for spring break. Wifey was on my 98 Vmax 700 121", my son was on my 98 Summit 583 136", and daughter was on 87 Excel 340. They loved it, we are making it an annual spring break ride!
