Don't think I've seen this before. Martin has a pre-order going on for 2023 snow-check models that haven't even been released. $200 refundable micro deposit.
So does this mean if you do get in on the pre-release order list, you won't get a chance to to get a snow-check?

This is on their FB page:
"Don't be left waiting for your 2023 machines. Put your name on the list to get a 2023 Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo Swtich, or Sea-Doo PWC/Spark. With a $200 refundable micro deposit you will reserve your name on the list.
Don't miss out! Reserve your spot today at martinmotorsports-ps.ca/--pre-order-event "
Greasy tactics, selling false hope.
Even if they pound in 500 orders on the first 5min of spring check it's not like they will be the first 500 sleds made and shipped.

you really don't know what your talking about. Of course there is no guarantees, but getting in as fast as possible gives you the best chance. Not hard to comprehend. I guess it is for you LOL

I tend to agree with Skegpro. They want $200 to get on an list to give an early Deposit on a sled that you may not get. F$%k OFF BRP. How bout anyone that snow checked their 2022 gets first right of refusal on the 2023?

to be clear, the 200$ is fully refundable so i really don't see anything greasy about it. Just trying to get you in line quicker. Also, this has nothing to do with BRP

Yeah, it won't work like that because the piggies keep bellying up to the trough and gobbling up the slop they feed them. They are in charge as long as people keep throwing wads of cash at them.

Am I wrong?
What's the difference if you got on the phone with any other dealer 5min after the release and spring checked?

The intent of the preorder is to try and get ahead of the game and to have a fair system for all martins customers incase we are in a situation again next fall like we are now. The way things are going that is very possible. If you don't get your name on the preorder list you can still snow check in the spring but if there is a limited amount of machines built you may not be able to. Getting your name on the pre order list secures your spot. How this works is by martins having all of their preorders in before snow check opens allows them to input all of their customers into the system on snow check opening day which would help with getting better delivery dates. In most cases, customers that ordered in the last few days of snow check ended up getting bad news this year in regards to delivery dates. The idea is to try and curb that right out of the gate. This is a 200$ refundable deposit but if you are a martins customer and want a snowmobile next year, i would get on this pre order list ASAP.

You don't have to pick your exact machine at this time because we don't know exactly what is coming out but they do ask for a preference, a salesman would contact you to confirm your order prior to entering it into the snow check program.

Hope this helps.

crazy times we are in, having to pre order your pre order. LOL

Polaris dealership in Cranbrook is also doing this. I was in there a month ago and was #12 on the list. When they know what coming out in for 2023 they will contract everyone on the list. If you say no then it's no problem

Maybe when my 2022 finally shows up it will come as a 2023. That would turn my anger around and be a serious high five to ski- Doo. Hope your listening ski-doo gods!!

I don’t see what the big deal is, it’s clever actually.
If anyone thinks this supply chain issue is going away they are fooling themselves. With the move from Martin, there may be limited build slots allotted to each dealer based on sales of previous years. If, and that’s a big if, a dealer has 20% of their allotments cut back than 200 dollars is a small price to pay to have somewhat of a piece of mind, on getting the toy you want.

Good sales gimmick, but the lawyer in me takes exception that it is implied the $200 deposit guarantees your 2023 snowcheck will show up on time vs. taking the risk and ordering from somewhere else.

Be funny if they snowchecked 1000 units with the $200 micro deposit and only 200 showed up before Xmas.

You have to pay $200 to pay $500 later . If it all goes towards the price of your sled whatever. But it’s still a way to hype up snow checks before the others are delivered defiantly a salesman tactic. I have to agree supply chains are messed up going to take a while for them to normalize Glad I got mine with Skegpro
