Hey, so rumor has it that BC is putting in or has already put in the bylaw, that you can no longer fuel your sleds in an enclosed trailer. Has anyone else heard this, or is it in affect already in BC?
I believe that's supposed to be applicable everywhere, and they base it upon the fact that the operator of the gas station cannot see whats going on. They have to be able to see what taking place so they can hit the ESD if something goes sideways.
That makes sense. But i dont know how you would even fuel sleds in a 30' trailer.
By the rules it does make sense, but how many stations with kids running them even care.
That is true, since we are on the fuel thing , How about pay before you pump?
Pay before you pump is annoying but if you're using a credit card it's nice and quick and you dont have to wait in line inside while that one person wants to check 43 lottery tickets, or wants to see what brands of cigarette they have then proceed to argue with the attendant as why they dont carry their brand. Pay before you pump sucks if youre paying cash.
Just wait till it comes to Alberta due to all the douches that gas and run.
The flying hook in the park is like that already at night. In the end, the honest guy is still paying for it all
I was fueling up one day at the "J" and was waiting in line to pay. A cube van pulled up so they couldn't see my truck anymore, the lady looks out and pages the boss with a panicky look in her eyes. She tells him they have had a truck run off with out paying and to call the police (I'm guessing they have it on video). When he asks what pump it sounds familiar...Ooops, that's my pump.
They were great about the embarrassing moment and apologized many, many times. They also told me that is one of the tricks, have a large moving type van pull up so the other vehicle can slip away without paying.
Those guys have got it down to an art. I guess it is anoying cause i have the kids with me. and i do not like to leave them in there and dont like taken them all out to go pay.
Well it will be interesting. I've been doing some research on it, and apparently its coming to BC, and passed as a bylaw. On the up side, deck sales might go up for companies.
