I can build something very nice for 500. To me it isn't worth 500.

Very well, and I'm sure you're capable of building something nicer for the same coin. But if you can, a man of your skill set has to be worth a good chunk of coin. Your time is worth money! The way I see it, every time I loaded and unloaded my sleigh I'd think F_ck yeah! This setup works awesome and it's light! You don't get much in life for $500 these days!

I have a tri fold ramp I used a couple years ago that works ok. Just have to put slides back on. The centre section that flips down for traction is nice and i can ad that pretty easy. I think if I can get that ramp on sale for close to the 300 Id love to get one otherwise Ill put a few bucks into something else. I am working on saving money and staying out of debt more. Just trying to be more wise with my cash these days.

Chinese Arithmetic to me fellas. Rightsideup has one...

I like my trifold with superglides. I just slide my trifold up flat beside my track and sandwich the back of the ski a bit. One dirtbike strap holds it forward and i run a ratchet strapover it and my top track idler down under the bumper both sides. I drilled a superclamp bolt through my box with a sheet of plywood. Works good.

I left mine in the plastic for about 3 weeks then I saw a young guy in the owlhead parking with a trifold push the ramp forward lift the endgate up then scratch the the crap out of the end gate and tip the sled over. Never seen that before or after. That's when I started learning Chinese.

If he lifted the tail gate like that the ramp wasn't tied down
keith at least 75 % of the people I see use a tri fold do not tie them down. It was very icy that day but I am certain he wishes he did the truck was two days old.

I have the identical ramp as you have Joholio. Just a little info here. It was designed by the late SteveO[so he said], He ordered 50 ramps to be made { I wont mention the manufacturer}, Steve stayed overnight at my place on his way to pick them up. The manufacture had them ready for shipment but neglected to put protective cardboard or foam between them. Most were scratched up to the point were Steve refused all but 10 of them. I bought one of them on his way back to Lower Nicola. Its an awesome ramp for sleds but can be slippery for quads. I always wrap the chains around the tail gate cables and have never had a problem.

I use a dirt bike tie down to my hitch. You can see it wrapped around a center rung in the pic
