Chain case drain and fill

Heat tape the rave covers, heat tape the pull cord ( if u have one) I had the pull cord not work, stay out ect ..
Since I put heat tape on it it's never done it since

Heat tape the wires below the computer , with a can forsure , cause the wires start to melt and conduit...

sent while I should be drinking tea's

isn't the chain case what the dealer does at the 400km or so mark? I added a pull cord so I guess I should get some heat tape. Hmmm some other good pointers for adding heat tape. Thanks

Can only melts wires if you have a backyard build that doesn't have ceramic coating on it. Good thing those chicken wings taste good!

I unlike a lot of guys here are not totally sold on the Raptors. Have them on two of my Three XM's and can't say they are worth it. Although I haven't had to ride a rough trail yet this winter. Up top in the powder I actually prefer the X Package shocks. I don't jump cornices or anything but for boon docking even on the lowest setting I find them stiffer to roll over than the X-package shocks. That being said my 17 Year old loves them on his 154. Sway bar disconnect and he cranks the Raptors up on the trail and down in the powder. My Nephews get their X shocks custom valved and I feel they work better than the one setup fits all Raptors and way cheaper!
****ty about your ankle!! Always next year though hey? LOL!!

Thats not totally true. Two 14XM's with the Sled shed cooker cans are melting the wires but my 13XM With ceramic coated MBRP is also melting the same wires and loom! Not quite as rapidly but still melting them. One beer each and a bit of heat shielding and all good!!

Thats interesting. I was told you can get your Raptors valved a specific way. I requested that from T-team, so hopefully. I also want to do the sway bar quick disconnect. I'm not sure what's going on, but the shocks I have are shot. I bottom out all over the place, and not just a whooped out trail so I had to try something else. They've been pretty $hitty since around 700kms or so.

I'm sure I'll be out riding again whether the doctors agree with it or not, lol. There's always April sledding!

Yes you can also get the Raptors set up the way you like. Just more money. I was referring to Martins Spring order ones that are all speced the same way. You would think they would have asked the purchaser what type of riding and what they weighed etc.

Glad you saved the kittens LMAO!

Never seen a ceramic MBRP usually they are stainless.

Ceramic coated SLP on mine with nothing melted... well the loom on the exhaust sensor touched the muffpot and is a bit melty but that's my fault.

You know what you are right. It is not coated and is stainless.

Make a good tool kit that fits under the seat, just cut out some foam with them illegal for site Olfa knives and stuff it in there.

Install grease zerks for the ski axle at the bottom of the spindle- facing forward. Use the same chassis grease as with everything else on the skid.

Gear up one tooth and load the engine a bit more. And it increases track speed.

Grease zerks? Is this easy to do? I'd assume I'd go to any auto part store to get the parts?

Never geared up a tooth or loaded the engine before...not sure how to do either.

I have seen and heard a few that put either a d.j or rooster kit in there 14

And have since taken them back out and put it back to stock, cause it wasn't as good as stock they found

For me, the stock 14 clutching is awsome , and is the first sled not to piss with it
1800 km, still have yet to adjust the secondary belt height, and no venting and 100% mountain miles

I Just ride the dam thing and love it

The grease into the ski pivots is a good idea, but I just take them apart and do it every fall and have never had a issue

U have to drill into the knuckle , tap it and put the zerk in

sent while I should be drinking tea's

agreed, only thing i did with mine was add the dj mtn ramps. would highely recommend these over the stock 441 ramps.

Rowdy i would take the primary apart and clean it. I know i did mine around 1-1200km and tons of belt dust buildup from the oil they put on the clutch at factory. Would recommend changing the chain case fluid again and clean what you can. grease it. If you want to go real crazy, doo really lacks on the diolectric grease, i know the 13's already have some corroided connections.
