Hmmmm....helmets....have to admit I was a bit surprised to see peeps without helmets on the video taken through the course...we gotta make sure they leave them on once they leave the campground I guess.

I like Boggers idea..it's always good to take a socially responsible position at events like this. :D We should run it as a fundraiser...or at least a few things are fundraisers, or a portion of the event overall goes to a specific cause.

It was our first time and we enjoyed it alot........GREAT job to the organizers. It IS NOT easy trying to please every one (including srd),overall they did a fantastic job. The fire works alone were worth the price IMO.........lol .
Some semi organized rides listed before the actual ride might give the more hardcore guys a chance to meet & ride together............

Oh.. HI EVERYONE! I heard someone say "jamboree".. I was right! I guess that means dirt biking season is around the corner and time to log into snowandmud for the first time since, I dont know when, an dust off the ol cobwebs..(almost forgot my password).

I have no suggestions or feedback really I think the last couple Jamboree's I attended were very well put together, thought out and an extreme blast to attend, and will definitely be attending this one again as well, now that we have our new truck and trailer rig! I just decided to log in today to check to see if there was any info about an upcoming Jamboree this year and when we have to book our spots because I will be on vacation here soon so wanted to make sure I didn't miss out! Phew, glad I wasn't late.

I will be impatiently waiting for the word of when and where ! :)

Good plan. Even you taking pics of our dudes wheelying up the hill seeing who could go biggest on the bikes made the checkpoint a bit more exciting hahaha.

Big wheelie contest can become a liability issue for us fast. Maybe not a official competion or any timed event. (RACING) Sorry may just use points not speed and it could happen.

Here's an idea. Take a few decks of cards and mix them all together, and each participant draws one card before they start the ride. At the end of the ride, the group of five people that can make the best poker hand together wins a prize pack. It would encourage participants to talk to each other at checkpoints since they'd be asking around to see who has what cards, and maybe even ride together since you'd have to meet up with them at the end anyway.

The only thing I would do different is have something for the kids in the big top tent....the year before was great....lots of giveaways and limbo poles. You get a bunch of kids together...you also get their parents together.
