Not worried, I don't really give a rats azz if it's "approved by whoever" when I buy my goods.
Home depot is big on the Martha Stewart crap, It works for a year or 2, then the fog clears out of the people's eyes and a breath of reality is there.

But High Velocity, Hurry and rush out to Buy Buy Buy!! Chris says so!! (not because he gets paid to or gets free sleds.. LOL)

Anyone can be bought.

LMAO !! It's called marketing, boys. It's funny how the only ones worried about this campaign are Doo boys suffering from "Pro Envy". There is a cure........ Buy a Pro !

Burandt must sit back and laugh everyday....dude these guys do whatever I say!

But hey, great on him, nothing against him as a person, a rider, or great marketing specialist. Of course I would love to be in his shoes. (Or maxwell's as I hear they are bigger)

Burrant is a great rider for sure, and I understand how the running boards would improve the riding quality of the 11's and 12's. But how is that bag gonna improve my riding? Good idea none the less but just because someone "special" says to buy this item does not make it something I need to have.

Burandt, take him or leave him. Polaris marketing are the ones laughing-all the way to the bank. They bought him, they got him and people follow him wherever he goes. The cabbage they pull down from this guy's face far outweighs what it costs to have him. He does what Polaris says! I was there last Feb riding when the film crew was there filming for the release of the 600 pro. He does not dictate to Polaris. He has input and in turn gets 7 free sleds for himself and his rentals. The rest he buys at a reduced rate. When they request he goes somewhere for a video or commercial, he goes!

Not sure what I think of this one. Maybe because it's not "Burandt approved" and it looks too bulky to be "flickable".:p

I like the fact that burandt is having the success and exposure that hes currently getting, its means that our sport is progressing like other "mainstream" sports are. Really how many riders out there actually get to make a good living off sledding compared to sooo many others out there??? All its doing is opening up more doors (and corporate wallets/minds) for all those out there that have dreams of making it, and being able to do it big like CB. Good on guys like him, seriously who wouldnt want their own signature series? :d

there was an interveiw with him why he switched to polaris. he liked the direction they were going. and did not like where cat was headed. and he was right. i dont think it took to much convincing to go over to polaris since he hates skidoo too lol

Exactly, he hates skidoo for the same reason I do. After seeing the photo of the new one it looks like they went even more rider forward which is backwards to what they needed to do. Good for you guys that already like that thing but they will not bring me over the the yellow camp with that thing. If they made a sled 375 lbs with 200 hp that handled like an xp I would still ride the PRO because when I stand my 280lbs with gear on the front skis that xp feels like the front end weighs as much as my dodge cummins.

CUSO, I can assure you that who Polaris uses in their marketing campaign has absolutely no influence on what I buy. I'm just getting a kick out of all the people like yourself that seem so upset by Poo's marketing? Whether you like it or not, it is working because of the quality products they're selling, not because of who's endorsing said products.

So, I hate to ask this but what are the tested HP numbers for the 3 brands (800 of course). I know poo is behind but i have heard different numbers depending on who is testing and all those variables associated with dyno's.

Has anyone done all 3 at the same time and place for a level comparison?

Just wondering.

Canuk, I haven't seen results from all 3 done on the same dyno, same day.
I'm interested, though.

Sent from my iPhone when I should be sledding.

Here it is,Stock 150+ HP Class Dyno
Sled Horsepower/Torque
Arctic Cat F 800 Sno Pro 155.5 /101.9
Polaris 800 Rush 146.1/ 97.2
Ski-Doo MXZ 800 R E-TEC 152.1/ 101.1
Yamaha Apex 151.1 /83.3

Most interesting to me is the big 4 stroke torque monster lol, Lowest of the four go figure. The Pol picked up a couple for 13 leaving about a 4 hp diff to the doo.

This is the same day Am sno shoot out in NY.
