Clutch kits for m1000

got 2009 m1000 stock. going to revie. what do i need to do for weights.do i go adjustable.dont have a clue...Come from the big battle river hills, haha...need some help.

If it is stock you will likely be fine! While you are in Revy watch your rpms to see what they are doing. If you are around 7250 on your pulls you are bang on. I run dalton adjustables and they are great. My 1000 reved high stock about 7800. I run about 84 grams of weight but they are all different. I have the 80-87.5 adjustables. I am running a d and d yipe pipe and can and pulls 7450 all day long with a gold primary cat spring which engages about 2900rpm.

Yep good to go with an "M" series stock at Revy. The M series come stock set up for 6000-9000 f elevation.


Unless you bought it second hand and the guy before was running it at 0-3000f elevation.... then you might wanna check the weights.

I have a 2008 Arctic Cat M1000 Snopro that was purchased and setup for 0-3000ft riding. The information I've read has different weight ratings for various elevations. I'm looking to do some more riding at 3000-6000ft near Fernie, BC or Radium, BC over this season. Can anyone confirm the best clutch weights to go with, I'm not 100% sure I can trust the local Cat dealership. The online parts site I use states 83g for 3000-6000ft and 85g for 0-3000ft. That doesn't seem right, but if there is anything else I shoudl consider rebuilding in the clutch setup like springs and orings etc. please let me know I'd like to get all the neccessary parts and do the work myself. Thanks.
