BC has had a carbon tax for like a decade. It has caused me to move exactly zero of my heating or household appliances from gas to electricity. All it has served to do is make fossil fuel use more expensive for consumers but still cheaper than electricity so it creates exactly zero incentive to switch. Complete cash grab.
