    2013 m8000 best performance upgrade

BB if you have the $$. For example, RK Tek 925 is $2,150USD + controller + clutching. - Belt drive is a great upgrade for about $1100CDN. TKI or C3 are both great options. Saves 2.5lb rotating mass and up to 12lbs weight loss. - The Jaws pipe set $849 produces 12HP. If you get PCV with timing...

    13 to 14 M 800 skid upgrade

Did you have to remove the existing drop mounts? Those hammer rivets are tough to get out.

    Narrow front end

I used the A/C Narrowing kit and had shocks rebuilt with spacers at Nextech in Sherwood Park. Shocks work great with the spacers installed. Some have run without installing spacers but the front end sits a bit higher. If you go with the BDX A-arm kit you need to buy the A/C bottom a-arms plus...

    Cataract/Etherington 2013/14 Thread

Went out Saturday from Etherington area. I went up Fording Pass and over both ridges. Snow: - plenty on trail but getting pounded. Still easy going!! - 1 to 2 feet in trees lower down - 3 to 4 feet of sugar at/past the ridges, but a hard-layer 1 foot down on open areas. - had some fun in the...

    2013 m8 ice building up

It's not worth removing the triangles. They are going to ice up there regardless of what you have. I bent my tunnel and snapped a gusset taking a bit hit without the triangles in. Not worth it. I now have B&M Boards and a bit of ice still builds up at the back. I also did a carbon fiber 3M...

    Rubber seal for Intake

I think the '13s come with a better/bigger seal. You can use some weather stripping and beef it up.

New 2013 M8 first ride seems to have a viberation?

Is the vibration at idle or moving? If its while moving check track alignment and tension. It track is loose and/or unaligned it can cause vibration feeling.

What are the 2014 upgrades that the 2013 sleds are getting? Has anyone had them done?

I ordered 2 months ago. Got clutch and belt guard yesterday from Dealer. He did not get many delivered so there is still a major back log. Call your dealer ASAP to inquire. For M800 (XF8, XF/M1100 has a different clutch and gears) 0637-442 Secondary Clutch $150 (free for 2013 owners)...

    Aftermarket bars?

The stock bars are ridiculously soft. And suggesting you should not roll your sled in powder is just ridiculous.(no offense) I rode with bent stock bars for 2 seasons. I simply heaved them back into shape. They were getting too soft last year so I upgraded this summer. If you want to stick with...

    Radio Recommendations

Garmin Rino 610 - It use 4 AA's - buy the Eveready/Duracell recharger kit for $20. I charge in the hotel after each day. The best thing about the Rino's is you can track where your buddies are on your screen and you can set the GPS to point you in their direction. I will never ride without it...
