Wanted to send a THANK YOU to Pete Gads for donating some cash to repair the damage to the Allan Gate and to purchase a few other neat things to prevent this ;)

Thanks again buddy !

took this from the updates thread, as to not clutter it up....

The pic of the trailer is from tues nite till weds morn as we stayed in the parking lot overnite.

ive always wanted to camp out while sledding, that must have been cool, thanks for the pics

you should! a buddy and I usually go every spring out to hasler and camp for a few days, use the slide in camper for sleeping, and the trailer for cooking and hangin' out after sledding. we go late season to find our way into new stuff on the hero snow, it's a blast.

When does david henry open for sleddin'???? I know its a caribou thing, but not sure of the date......

When the ski tour operator up there shuts down for the season which is usually about April 15th. Small window of opporutnity to access that area as you have to drive up a frozen creek bed just before the alpine and that creek usually opens up in early May.

Not even a matter of the money for the rooms... be really cool to wake up and be there. Sit around the fire in the evening with some beverages, hot chilli and toasted buns for supper done on the camper stove and retire to the toasty warm camper for the night... equiped with bathroom and running water, I've already looked into swapping out my tanks for insulated...
Camping AND sledding two of my favorite things....
