'63 Rambler Classic 440 with a 199 aluminum block, torque tube driveline. Had the seats that folded down and made a bed, was great for driveins!!!! Cost 100 bucks and my insurance was a 100 bucks back in 81, good times, good times.

86 Chev 1/2 ton with a mildly built 350. Blew up the trans and 10 bolt rear and on went almost a 10 year long career of blowing drivelines lol.

69 Javelin SST 390 auto set of tires a weekend and 62 demerrits before i got my first impared. 1 speeding ticket going thru Spruce Grove was 125MPH. Sure glad the kids did not follow my tire prints.
Buddy's older brother had one of those. Was about 12 years old we went for a ride with him one day, he decided to see how fast he could get to Brooks. Blew the engine trying to outrun the cops on the #1highway they had him clocked at 144 mph when the rod decided to exit the motor. Took me about 3 days to stop shaking, scared the chit out of me. Mom and Dad didn't want me hanging out with him anymore.....

1977 Ford Pinto coupe with a trunk..... not a hatch. 2.3 liter with a 4 speed with 91000 miles. I never legally drove it because I just couldn't bring myself to be seen in it, but it was the first vehicle I had that I could call mine. Sold it for $200 when I was 16 or 17 to a buddies dad who drove it for over 2 years and 50000 miles before it died..... and all it needed was a timing belt but he didn't fix it. Didn't cost him a dime otherwise. This same guy has a 91 Pontiac Firefly that is mostly original and eclipsed 600000 kms......

1975 Mercedes Benz 230.4 four door, four speed, four cylinder. My dads buddy brought it over from Germany back in the early 80's. It was pretty cool being 16 with a benz in high school. And of course i had pioneer truck rider speakers seat-belted in the back!!

Same here... a buddy (ended up being my brother inlaw) had a 69 dodge charger rt 440... he was giving the local cops a run for there money on the 1A hyway between Cochrane and Calgary... it was hard to read the odometer as the dash was vibrating so fricken bad but the needle was bouncing just past the 150 MPH mark... oh and we were on our way into Calgary for new tires!!! Hims didn't need the new tires for a while after that run!!
