Did some maintenance today.
Sure got to take a lot of plastic off to change the oil. Lots of little screws and and push pins.
Cleaned her up and inspected the belt and clutches.

Changed out to the air filter to the reusable foam one.
Supposed to clean and oil the foam filter after every ride, but it should last the life of the quad unless I damage the foam.

New Axles are in. Went not to bad. Took longer to install the new winch line than to do the Axles.
The clunck is gone.

Changed diff fluids while we were in there. The rear was pretty milky.

Where did you pick that air filter up from? Thinking i might change to one of these as opposed to the K/N or paper for my Outtie.

New front brake pads went on the Alterra and greased the bearings. The tool worked better than I was expecting!.

Took wheels off 2012 Sportsman to take to Specialty tomorrow to get the new tires mounted on it. Put battery on charge while it's in the garage.

Looking for clutch rebuild kit for it. 3600km on it now so probably time

Installed a set of chinesium brake pads on the grizzly and replaced a rear wheel bearing. I love working on Yamaha’s. 5 bolts and a nut to do a wheel bearing. 20 min job.

kimpex prices are out to lunch. Can find those BFG's for almost half the price elsewhere. Just a quick look and Fortnine has 28's for example for 278 vs kimpex at 462
Kimpex is a wholesaler for other businesses. They will allow consumer sales if you pay full markup, but any tire / ATV shop will be able to sell Kimpex stuff for way, way less.

I know it isn't the prettiest. My 1st time plastic welding.
The snorkle cover. I put 4 staples in. Those I found you need to wait a bit to pull the gun off. And two of them I pushed too far into the plastic. And they poked out the other side. But with the soldering gun welder I was able to melt to plastic rod over it and kinda smooth it out.
Feels pretty solid.
