Had to buy new lights yesterday. You know how you plug in the strings of lights on the floor before they go on the tree? Did that and quite a load snap!
Down to CT and bought new lights yesterday.

It has been many years but they eventually wear out. Plastic gets brittle and cracks. Then there is trouble.
