"Site" Talk.

Saw the thread about Farmer Talk, and theres quite a few farmers. What about the people who work at 'Site'? I know theres a ton of us who work there too, even if its just mod yards in Nisku or all the way in GP or Ft. Mac.

Anyways, lets hear your stories and the latest on site. I'm just a labourer on site in Nisku for 3 months then hopefully starting an apprenticeship as a pipefitter after and travel alberta to many other "sites".

I agree, I am not steve, nor do I make 250K /yr either, but I do drive truck... No lift kit though.

My name IS Steve and i do work at many sites and I drive a truck...$250 grand....not quite.

It was two buddies if mine I went to high school with, we gradutated in 99, anyways over the last couple yrs they started making videos about all this. Steve Ginch from My name is steve is actually Jim Ginchs brother in real life. Neither of them actually work at site, but we were all born and raised in fort mac and have seen what it turned into, hense the videos. They now have a clothing line, which I bought a few things off them. here is me rockin one of them. I did infact work at "site" for 5 years before I left mcmurray for medical reasons pertaining to my son.

Worked as an apprentice scaffolder then labourer (material coordinator/tool crib attendant) combined about 3.5 years at the Petro Can (now Suncor) Refinery EDD and RCP projects... good times, miss the construction lifestyle and atmosphere slightly, but I don't miss the hard work and long hours.. I make a little less $ now but I still have a great job with a great company, and I am still in a union (association) so its all good

I work in a office , with lots of "site" visits and measuring. I just wanted to say that the people on "SITE" are awesome and sometimes make me laugh out loud....

I remember once an installer telling me...."boy I was drinking beer while you were still in your daddy's ballz....."
