I am finally in a position to purchase a new sled for the wife. While I like the Polaris chassis for obvious handling reasons, I am hesitant to purchase due to increased risk of engine failure. I have witnessed 6 of these engines blow-up over the past 2 years; essentially every Polaris PRO RMK 800 owner I know. Albeit some longer than others but nothing over 2000 kms. Is there a difference between the 600 and 800 CFI engines or do they both suffer from the same piston skirt issues?
