Burt Reynolds passed today I guess. He was and is still a fave of mine in many movies...yes that dates me, that’s ok.

I guess most of us are dated Dave. Also a favourite of mine and some great movies that I have watched over and over. RIP Bert and may you race around the heavens with the pedal to the metal.

Smokey and the Bandit, was the first movie I saw in a theatre, in west end Edmonton, when it was first released. A quite a few years later I bought a 75 T/A white with a blue bird and the 6.6 Bored it out 60 thou, crank, heads, cam, carb, valves, tranny rear end. She was a sweet ride at 19.
RIP buddy, thanks for the great memories of all of your movies. Another fave "The Longest Yard"

Only time that I went to a drive in. Smoky and the Bandit was the feature.
Was just a kid. Went with my parents.

RIP, still remember seeing Smokey at the drive-in back in the old days when Trail still had one.

You remember that old spot lol. Cops took my beer but I still went to the show. Trail...it’s been a while hey.
