Looks like the middle of winter here with all the sledders in town for the closure opening. There were close to 120 riders up Frisby yesterday. SRS is still grooming Frisby for the wknd. and access is good from the parking area but Boulder is finished for the season. Looks like it is snowing up top today. :d
Thanks to all the local guys who helped patrol on the last day of the closures.

Rode Boulder Wednesday and Frisby's Closure Areas on Thursday. Boulder was a lot of fun with bluebird and a foot of fresh with more in the trees. Suprised how dry the snow still is with the warm temp.

Frisby's Closure terrain is great but lower elevations so it was effected by the warmer weather. Crusty surface first thing in the morning but the sun cured that quickly. Tons of fun.:)

First pictures is Boulder. The rest from Frisby's Closure areas. The pictures are crap since all I had was my cell phone camera.

Here's the two LOCALS that rode the chit out of the closed cut block on the way up the Veidaman on Easter Monday. :realmad:They were the only tracks in the fresh snow ahead of us.

Your parking across the bridge with big trailers and heading up further with decks and open trailers to the 3 km. junction at Boulder, might be better by the wknd. Still lots of snow. Parking at the Streeter St. junction at Frisby now. Grooming is done for the season. As the snow disappears more on the lower trails at Boulder you guys should head up the Kirkup, better access and parking areas at 4, 6 and 9 km.
........... golf course is supposed to open this wknd.

Wow am I pooped! 2 great days in revy this past weekend.

Frisby on saturday: it snowed, sunned, clouded over, all in 45 minute shifts! Unload is at the 3km Streeter Street junction, lots of room for even big trailers. Parking is pretty dry too - thank you to the club for plowing all the snow out of this area so it's not a mud pit! You have nearly zero gravel on the trail. Ran over 90km just blazing around up there. Snow is concrete, traction is unlimited! Coming down you could see fresh tracks right past the cut block closure signs. WTF is wrong with some people???

Turtle on Sunday: Unload at the 3km Kirkup/Bezanson junction, again lots of room at the travel pit for your rigs. Turtle was beautiful, ran up lots of miles back into Monster Bowl, Copelan mine site, what a day. Thanks to REVY ROCKS and Bryce (sp?) for showing us around!

Maybe amyjane20 will put up some pics????
