Been having water issues lately. Had a guy come have a look cause at 1st I thought it was my pump. Nope new filter was clogged.
He said run no filter for a few days and try one again.
I put one in last night after 6pm. This morning at 5am I had to pull it. No water.
I've never seen one this plugged.

Now waiting to hear from that well guy.

not good.. 5 mic filter is pretty tight but you have bigger issues I would say. What is your well setup? Jet pump? submersible? Have you had inflow problems before? Run dry previously?

Well is 285ft (from what I've been told). Wife was talking to one of the neighbors. She's pretty sure the well is an early 2000's. It is a plastic casing. The pump is at the bottom (we are assuming). Not really what type. It starts at 2amps and works up to 5amps when started. I was told it's a "soft start".

And yes on Wednesday the wife ran the well dry. She figured she'd put some water in the pool to weigh it down a bit. As we were windy and the water truck wasn't coming until Friday.

But before Wednesday I noticed pressure drops. Typically I get 3 to 4 months between filter changes. I write on tape on the filter housing when I change the filters.
Feb 3, April 12, May 23, May 24th, and May 25.
Currently I've pulled the filter just to have water.
Westar is sending someone out Monday to have a look.
