I've never had winter tires before last year I had a couple of situations where I think they may had helped. I have a 2010 f150 with the 20' wheels the tires on there are low profile sport type. Now what size of tire and rim do I look for I don't see many 20" winter tires but when I do they are so expensive. Can I go down to 18"? Will they fit over the breaks? Thanks for any info.

Not sure about the fords but my 14 ram 3500 came with 20s on it and I switched them out at the dealer for the 18s off my 10 3500 cause no into buy rubber for the 20s and there's about an inch clearance between the rim and calliper. And if all else fails just do what my daughter always tells me. Google it. Lol

18's will fit no problem and I believe you can even go down to 17's if you want.
I run 275/55-20 Blizzak's on my GM and work great.

From 2010 to current you can use any rim on any f150. My 2014 came with 20" rims and Pirelli scorpions. In winter I swap to winters on 17" rims that I used on my 2011. No problems. Lots of rims on kijiji. Snag a set of 17 or 18's and install your preferred winters. Just make sure they have TPMS sensors.
