Highway 1, in both directions. Road construction work planned between Golden Donald Upper Rd and Yoho Bridge (4 km east of Golden). Starting Sat May 29 until Thu Jun 3. From 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM MDT on weekends, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The road will be closed. Travelers may consider using an alternate route via Hwy 95 and Hwy 93S. Allow 1.5 hrs additional travel time. Next update time Fri Jun 4 at 7:00 AM MDT. Last updated Tue May 25 at 1:34 AM MDT. (DBC-29591)

It’s true. Detour took me 2 hours each way. A ton of traffic on detour. Slow going too

Ya Ok sure, diverting the trans canada hwy through Brisco and Edgewater is hardly noticeable. lol

Careful on that radium highway. It’s so congested now and so twisty I’ve seen fatal accidents both times on my way through. Semis just plow through there totally unaware of all the sharp corners

Kids drove thru the detour 4 hours ago. Was busy and slow going. Took just under 2 hours

We were 15 km south on 95 and there was a semi up side down in the ditch. Yes it was slow going not as bad as I thought it would be.
