Had to re-read this post 3 times last night and drool over the photos. My hat goes off to you for your drive to have the sled that meets your needs, not many guys/gals would take on such a task.

very cool project . I have been putting off cleaning my clutches since last year!!

have you ever thought about those 2 tracks having independant travel

There is a guy in BC who built a sled called Rated R u might have have even seen it.? Any way that is a sled out of this world.!~!

Wow that thing is cool. Hard to believe it sidehills well though, some guys say that going from a 15 to a 16 makes a noticible difference in how easy it lays over.

I hope I see you out on the hill!
