In them hills.
"A swiveling rear arm and split front arm allow the skid frame to flex laterally for easier roll up into a sidehill or carve."

Was the split front arm always a thing?

SOmeone please post what the Doo factory recommended 'optimal' RPM is for this motor. I think Doos have a sticker near the clutch that says it. Or just let us know what it revs it sustains on a pull. Curious where they decided to run the turbo motor at.
7950 rpm according to the spec sheet on website

My 1160 makes 154 hp at 8000 feet.

still not 165, its also 20 years old, rides like a lumber wagon, probably have to give it a shot of ether to get it fired up in the AM, have to change jets 8 times to get it to 8000ft,drain the powerjet lines when she flips over, proabaly has the throttle response of a weedwacker with the choke on. bet it has great warranty too LOL

Rides the same as a 2020 850 in 3 ft of snow. Never ever touch jetting. It will pull harder at 8000 ft than an 850 turbo and its lighter. Oh ya and warranty is only good because Doos are always in getting warranty work.

I am curious as to how long the engine break in period will be on these two stroke turbos? I also noticed in the windy video the doo spokesman had said that most dealerships will have one for a demo?

If I know BRP as well as I think I do, I bet they bump up HP 12% for the snowchecks. So snowcheck sleds will have 165hp from 0-8000 feet!

Something isn't right here. If that 850 makes 165 hp at 8000 ft then how much hp would it make at sea level?
