Are things drying up in Radium/Invermere?

Just got back from Fairmont Hot springs area. I took my bike and rode at Rushmere (15min away). Great riding, barely a drop of snow or ice at the bottom of the occasional deep woods trail. It was dry on 99% of trails and some occasional puddles, more dust than snow. Went Monday with my son and Tuesday by myself and met up with 2 guys, rode with them as they knew the area. Got a flat tire and left.

I`m wondering if it worth to take the quad down to Radium yet? Can you random camp out there? Any special places recommended by you locals
