Hasn’t snowed in over a week with lots of traffic, and -30 overnight temps this week….choice is yours.
Had to cancel 2 weeks in advance. Non-refundable at this point. Don't mind the cold, but had one guy say it dumped where they were yesterday and then others saying hasn't snowed in a week. Just looking for some mind of hope haha. We'll make the best of it either way.

Between -27 and -34 at 6000 feet for the next 3 nights. Think hard about dropping into a new spot 20minutes before dark.

Ouch. buddy seen a chopper out on the weekend for a pick up. Hope Buddy recovers quick. I had a pretty bad cash a few years ago. Now I always ride with knee pads and a techvest. Might not of helped in buddies case but who knows.

I know my bca vest saved my ribs a couple times. One still fractured with it on but I couldn't imagine without it

Ya definitely x2 on the bca pack vest, sometimes I think this heavy thing sucks and I wanna go back to a normal small pack and then it serves its purpose……. Ok my ribs say keep it lol

I seen this on instagram, no details on the injury but it looked bad.

Hopeful for a speedy recovery.

If I had to guess this looks like the top of alberta hill. Which sled?
Was in 51, rock was under the surface 3" had a 5' tall straight face on it. Missed with the skis, track kicked the sled 6-8ft in the air and barrel rolled, he impacted the running board on landing with his ribs. He is back in hospital tonight as his lung collapsed.

That's wild. Hope he is OK. Seems like you need a helicopter every time you ride in 51
