2012 Honda Foreman 500

Anyone have comments on new Honda? Had a couple of rides on mine. Runs great. Better ride than
the 2008 and seems to have a bit more power. Pulls 27" Mud Bugs a bit better but the deep stuff is
still frozen!

Have a 2011 and use it for work and it has been fantastic. Always had Hondas on the farm, and never issues and it seems the new ones are just as good as they ever have been. Happy with my choice...

I have had a number of 450 and 500 Foremen. They have been almost bullet proof! Just hoping the added complexity
of liquid cooling and fuel injection for 2012 does not make them more prone to problems. Power steering is a must once you have
had it!

Raced and compared a couple 420's vs a couple of 2012 500 foreman's... the 500 got spanked.. in a lot of areas.. All were no frills base models - no PS or independant rear etc etc.... Not impressed since I own the 500!. Looking into chips, pipes, and a gear reductions? Anyone try any of these?

Gear reduction is your best bet. I believe the 420's run a lower pinion gear and you can put it in the 500. 10% reduction i think.
