Have they improved the 550 fan engine?? I know the 2000 era ones are a pos. They don’t last. Need rebuilt regularly Run hot enough to melt stuff under hood. Etc

I haven’t priced but evo to blast?? Anyone looked
Evo is way cheaper but way less capable out of the box. Seems to have much better aftermarket support though.

I think one more year on our 2019 200cc and it'll be time for an upgrade as well, probably be looking at the venoms if there's any around. My 9 year old looks pretty big on her 200 this year, we'll see how she rides it this season but she was almost on the limit of that things capability last year already, so she might get bored with it pretty quick.

Evo was $7400 last snow check.
Neighbors have one with a few thousand km on it, been good.

2000 was 22 model years ago lol.

We were very surprised how capable the evo Rmk is out of the box. Even in the big hills.
My 10 year old (11 now) was putting it on carving it on edge pretty decent.

Running boards will be the first mod we do, they blow. But things are easy to upgrade as lots of parts swap over from pros and axys.

Yes I know that was long time ago. But they haven’t been that popular for quite awhile but now with new focus on them. Was hoping they improved

Took my 4.5 yr old son down to the dealer on the weekend and had him sit on a 200 and he fits it physically just fine, FYI.

Something wrong with the top speed, I can get 48 kph on my sons scoot. Plenty of forums on top speed being around 30mph.

To the OP your youngest is small and the 9 yr old is probably only going to get a year or so out of it depending on their riding experience.
On flat ground maybe 48km/h but not going up the trail in the mountains. We averaged about 35km/hr going up the Kakwa trail.

35-40km average up the trail yesterday, I don't think she had it pinned though, just cruzin'. Not sure about packing fuel either, we've never had to add any yet. We've only taken it to Quartz a few so far though so it's only a 15km trail ride in.

Does your sled go as fast up a mountain as on flat ground….nothing goes as fast uphill as on flat ground. The scoot is only 9 hp, they are pretty impressive little rigs IMO for kids.

A guy forgets how small a first gen phazer is. I parked next to a mint one in Mcbride the other day, it’s a perfect kids sled
