162 might be a bit much for a 700...but im sure it could handle it.

its a big job

tunnel extension
rail extension or new rails
new track
new drivers

what do you mean by "isnt to bad"

put it this way. on most other brands you can easily change the gearing ratio to make a 700 handle a larger track. but on a cat that is designed as a crossover it does not have the correct gear ratio to spin that larger track IMO. if you went from a 144 to a 162 on a skidoo you would drop at least 2 teeth on the upper gear. there are kits to change the ratio on cats just dont know where to find them with the diamond drive.

Im just saying that the m7's with the 162 dont feel super underpowered ive ridden a few the power is deffintly there and will turn the track ....I have no idea what one would have to do the diamond drive to make it all work .....Are the CF's really that much different diamond drive wise??

I completly agree with you maxwell there has to be something different in gearing i dont know what tho my statement was just to say the 700 will turn the 162"
