I don't think it's any of putins business what the Ukrainians want to believe,he says he is OK with Ukrainians being their own people but he wants to crush nationalisim? I hate the west politicians, and politicians over there,and media people.Its all of us the people suffering and the Ukrainians Russians...... the sooner its over the better,but we all know its going to get worse

The censorship in the world is so bad this is the only way Putin voice will ever get out. To bad all the leaders of the world would not be forced to be grilled for 2hrs with someone with the intergrity of Tucker, however i think Tuckers main reason for going is getting that reporter out and he did not have the knowledge base to continue the interview, which was disappointing for me anyway.

that interview can hardly be called a grilling. it was about as softball of an interview as it gets. there were no tough questions, putin dominated the whole thing. reminds me of the one between anderson cooper and biden.
if you're concerned about censorship, russia is about as bad as it gets.
no questions regarding:
why no one can run for office against putin
the whole prigozhin thing
no independent media allowed and hundreds of foreign journalists exiled (pretty much the definition of censorship)
the failed hypersonic missile and the engineers that developed it were arrested on treason
that's not even the tip of the iceberg but in fairness to tucker, he was probably told this will be more of a lecture and less of an interview.

i edited my response.
i'd also add the freezing russians and their crumbling infrastructure b/c money is being spent on the war.
the brain drain of all the educated types that left when the war started
those are a few questions without even thingking too hard about it.
the "interview" was a failure for anyone looking for some answers to hard questions.

I dont think putin signed up for an interrogation though.

I did not realise Putin was and orthodox christian and wears a cross around his neck. Hopefully Tucker listens to Putin and asks those questions he was told to ask in a follow up interview in the us, i doubt that will happen though.

that's right he had a golden opportunity and only for two hours and it was a joke. putin has already said all those same things on russian media which is accessible by anyone.
again though, i'm betting tucker was told exactly how this would go. that's how dictators operate.
