And another thing the engine should be pulling 8100 at most, played with weights on mine and found pulls best at steady climb about 8050 rpm, jumps up to 8200 when first hit it then settles down. Cat clutching set up is for 8000+alevation and over revs in our mountains. That where adjustable...
Just did my skid relocation from 2012 to 2014 and installed new 2.6 powder claw from challenger extreme, sled gets up on snow better and less trenching. Limiter strap is one hole shorter then factory setting and center shock is backed way off. Tried the 2014 gearing, found that had no track...
Have been running with a 2013 m8 153 and 2014 xt backcountry with the powder claw, track throws lots of snow even on hard packed don't have to worry about hyfax wear and cooling. Both hook up good. The backcountry uses the 2.3 powder claw thought that would be easy to find, maybe not in 141 thou.
Man what a change...... riding the only Doo for years with these guys and listening to the BS the biggest anti-doo guys is riding one and impressed. Just hope top end stays together for yea and enjoy the sled. If anyone is going to give this sled a true test, this is the man. USE AND ABUSE.... LMFAO
Bought Brute Force for son this summer. 1000$ cheaper then city and was PDI as we drove out to pick it up. Heard nothing but good comments about them and will continue to support a dealer that works for the customer not a paycheck.
Thinking of going with new Brute next year and wondering how they handle with EPS. Love the power of older brutes but ride 08 Griz and love how easy it is on your arms after a day of muddin.
Added 1 1/2 spacers on rear after pics, helped stabilize it. Still have to watch coming down hills now, ass end sure gets light at times.
How about my xrs for your nitro Rene LMFAO
Rode Ghost area on long weekend, works great in mud and snow, lots of bottom end. Was in high range most time and felt like low before clutch mod. Piped brute still pulls away on road may take some weight out to get some top end back. Goes through rutted mud holes with no problem but with big...
