I was SO close to buying one of those. $209 ms170 tempted me away. Do you have much time on it? My only hesitation was the price, and a bunch of reviews saying the chain pops off alot

Well i have a greenworks 80v from canadiantire, i think costcos carries them online as well. I have seen them go on sale at canadian tire for below 300 dollars. They work awesome, i bought my son in law a Milwaukee chainsaw though with no battery he has a ton of batteries anyway. I should have a shoot out with him and see who wins.

Chain only comes loose when brand new and stretch’s quick adjustment after 50 plus cuts and your good we cut up 3’ lengths enough to fill the back of long box and it was only down 1 bar of power also it’s nice a quiet

Trevor, you have one of those Milwaukee chain saws? That's quite a firewood pile, is that your house by my place or your cabin.

Couldn't get to the root of how this happened, but this is the second saw we've had come back like this. Same could probably happen to any saw. I had one of these and I also have a MS170. The Mil seems to be a bit more powerful, but the MS is lighter and just handier IMO. Plus I can buy 2 MS's for the price of a single Mil without a battery.

Down side to the cordless chainsaws is the batteries are exposed instead of being in a sealed compartment. It’s not uncommon for a saw to be used in the rain.
I know from experience that when you forget it out in the rain it toasts the battery. Warranty but still a pain to deal with.

The chain saws function great but need to get a design update for the battery slot. I originally thought that the open battery was required for cooling but my chop saws has a gasketed hatch. It draws the juice! Can drain a 60 volt battery pretty quick. My shower project was hours of steady cutting. Batteries come out hot paTATo! Batteries need to cool down before they will take a charge. I needed 5 battery full cycle to run continuous (2x 9ah 3x 6ah) chain saw draws Fawk all in comparison! It cuts, limbs and bucks up a full Large Alberta tree (12/14 ish base) no prob on one battery.
***Looks like both Colour Chainsaws need the sealed compartment upgrade due to the chain oil and saw dust aspect alone! ***
Personally have Toasted 3 batteries from my saw getting excessively wet! First world problems but I never had to worry about if my chainsaw slept outside for the night while I’ve been out doing cool shat all day!
