It’s obvious how mad people are as I can’t recall a time in my lifetime that so many Canadians got out and protested all across the country. Not saying it equates to a win for the PPC but it is defiantly something big.

Never voted right in my life. I always felt the right was to restrictive as far as our freedoms are concerned. PPC is the first party to make me vote on that “side” because they promote everything I’ve always wanted from a government, small, fiscally wise and willing to give people freedom.

That being said I’ve never voted much because I dislike politricks. I made the mistake of voting for legalized weed in 2015 because I thought it could boost our economy. Clearly the liberals had other agendas with that and I was wrong. I still feel ashamed for that choice.

I disagree with your opinion on polls because if none of us had seen a poll or had manipulated media coercing us the vote splitting argument would be non existent and the best ideas would be showcased properly. Obviously there are more nuances to this but I’m not typing up a book here.

Most opinion polls are conducted by independent firms and really aren't affected by the media. It's been posted on here before the track record and success rate of many of these firms such as Nanos and Mainstreet, they have a reasonable track record at predicting party support across the nation, and to a lesser extent predicting the number of seats won per party. At some point you have to believe in something, because not everything can be a lie.

I am a strategic voter as much as I am a voter to appease my own beliefs. I understand that politics is much like life, in that you will never get everything you want, but if you work at it and try getting most of the things you want is achievable. I'd rather have consistent and stable governance under the condition that many issues result in compromise, rather than a constant flip-flop between ideologies where half the work of the incoming party is to erase the policies of the outgoing party. Election polls are a critical part of this process. For example if the NDP was polling number 1 with the Liberals closely behind and every other party 10% or more behind them, who would you vote for? It would make me sick, but I would vote for the Liberals, because rule by Trudeau is painful, by rule by the NDP is un-thinkable, if the NDP ever win federally all of us in Alberta might as well pack up and leave, there would be nothing left for us here.

And not only that but usually all the school kids do not bother to vote and when they do they do not have a clue, but this time they are on a mission. And it does not take much of a brain to know who they will be voting for.

Ppc here. I went back and forth and voted with my heart instead of my head haha.
you voted with BOTH. good man. God bless.

Sadly I hope there is a liberal majority so more ruhtards wake up and see the problem.
Yes it will suck, but Trump also had to fall :(

i had no idea who i would vote for till i was in front of the screen, the x was instant!
hoping Tru-d is turffed out!

everyone get out and vote. this is important, take your neighbour if you have to!

I wonder how the churches are going to vote? After they arrested all those ministers.
I know of one family, kids are voting age. They are displeased with their church being shuttered, part of the purple wave now. Many other reasons besides the church, used to be PC's.
