Yes Clode you right Trump did defend those amendments. What about the unamended part of the constitution. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of defence of that document. Which supersedes the amendments. The original 13 colony's joined together and defeated the British. Subsequently they sat down and produced an agreement by which they could work together for a better future (The US constutusion). In that original document one point that was agreed upon was that each state would be able to vote in unison for the president and vice president and could devise their own method of doing so. If there is deficiencies in the constitution then amendments can be made. NEVER HEARD ONE WORD IN DEFENCE BY ANYONE not even the pillow man and he knows a lot ----- about selling pillows.

Trump was defending and making sure the 1st and 2nd amendments were not being altered. I think somebody who wants martial law would be out to disarm people and remove free speech.
