The waterfall is like a paved road right now. The other trail is not really in right now. It is great up there right now.

Good snow up there today. Trail was getting groomed on our way out. Probably only 15 riders today. Still powder turns to be found. Watch out for the creek openings. Somebody's day ended early with a shattered kneecap after they piled into the handlebars.

Has anybody been into silent in the last couple days?

Rode it a couple days ago... Not much fresh left after we got out of there. If it hasn't snowed since I wouldn't bother. Same with Gorman.

Rode silent on Sunday Jan 24 with raspberrynytro. It was a Epic day, bluebird, deep snow, nice weather. Noticed several Avalanches even on smaller slopes, the top 35cm of snow is letting go. Be careful. Did notice that most are staying off the loaded or steeper slopes which was good. The road up was quite slippery, snow tires or chains are a must with 4 wheel drive.
Here is some pics of our day. The snow was anywhere from 18" to 30" deep of fresh, by the afternoon it was starting to get sticky.

Been several years since I was in to Silent. How long is trail into actual riding area now from parking? Suitable access for family ride?
