m series brake lever

i have an 09 m8 and im putting on moto bars, but the stock brake levers clamp is to far towards the middle and clamps on the bend of the bars. does anyone know if 98-07 zr, zrt, zl willwood brake lever will work. threads and brake cable should be the same?

also if i find out this will work il be looking for one so if u got one pm me.

Just spoke with my son CatTails and he was saying that the 09 runs a HB (hayes brakes) cylinder and the 98 to 07 is a Wildwood master. The difference is from where the brake lever mounts to the piston contact are different lenghs or distances from one another....
