So this is going back a long time ago, before cell phones. I worked as an operator answering radio calls for fishermen on the west coast of Vancouver Island.
One customer that called in pretty well every night would make a collect call home. Just loved announcing a collect call from Harry Hole, always wondered what he looked like. and if he could hear me laughing.
