Also road owls today - drove past 2k lot and proceded up to 6.5 k parking lot - 1st to unload there - trail was not to bad on way up - was snow fresh on it to soak up some of the bumps! We stopped at Owls turn off but snow level didnt look the greatest - we proceded on towards Blue - made our way into meadows before cabin to find some fresh but previous track from possibly yesterday darted the sled around ! Got up to Bunny hill ridge and dropped over to find untouched powder all the way back as far as on can go in blue - lighting was the greastest / snowing hard at times but manage to make few tracks and burn off alot of fuel being clamped most of the time ! Kinda made a large circle - came across a wounded 18 axys that wouldnt run - them damn hair dryers ! Lol- came back through lower meadows west of cabin and up through trees to have lunch at cabin . After that played at bit in meadows towards blue lake but was little worried about land mines ! Made our way out past cabin and down shortcut to trail - by then trail getting a little beat up ! Got to 23 k 'Y' and headed into meadows to find snow level really has settled in last few weeks due to recent rain ! May our way across some large creeks - that were surprisingly frozen ! Proceded across some iffy cutblocks and got back on trail at 18k and holly - just a little beat up - defiently need more snow now - not sure how many sleds were on trail but wow - shes a washboards !

Today may have been the best day for riding. No new precipitation in the forecast for the next couple days.
Felt really good to ride again. Minus the trail
Yes the trail sucks ball sack, but that's early and or late season riding for ya

Hmm doesn’t seem to be a problem for other clubs to groom. Hence why Sicamous isn’t getting a membership from me this year.

Huh, we'll no snow low enough at bluelake especially ( which is what we were talking about before your 2 cents) cause it's being plowed to 13 km

And? It isn’t the only riding area. Thankfully.

Took son, stuck 36 times if I counted right
Yikes! We rode radium with a couple rookies this weekend and they weren't stuck that many times and I'm feeling it can't imagine how your doing.

Ah it was OK ish, he was trying to learn how to carve and in 3 feet of snow he was stuck every lay over ( or at least a ski pull )
