Read on Kertis Broza's Infinite Powersports facebook page last night that a friend of his from Canmore that sleds and stays out in Revy all winter had the track on his sled cut with a knife sitting on his deck because of his red and white plates on his truck. I guess there are people out there that aren't happy with Albertans sledding in their town.

Just offering up the possibility that the guy was banging someone’s wife or maybe driving like an Ass Hole. If they didn’t leave a note saying ‘go back to Alberta’ you’ll never know for sure.

did they leave a note saying they cut the track because of the red and white plates or just maybe he is an a-hole and did something that caused the retribution? Just saying allot of assumptions on here.

Catch somebody cutting my track they’ll have plenty of time to ponder their mistake while their going through traction therapy.

Fair enough, could be a Caribou lover too. Tough to know what the vandals are thinking these days... pick a cause and screw someone over for it.

Very good possibility. We were filling our sleds at the local fuel depot yesterday when a guy pulled in to top up his truck. Grumpy looking fellow giving us the evil eye...we ended up pulling out just behind him and due to the fact he had no tail gate we could see his cross country ski gear in the back of his truck.

I’m pretty sure he hates all sleders equally...not just Albertans

Could be. I’ll ask Kertis and see if he has some knowledge of that?

Think if he was banging somebodys wife he would get a more personal visit than a cut track. Just sayin. and there has been some animosity towards plate color

I have a friend from Calgary who has owned a place in Fernie for over 25 years. last summer he was bitching, to anyone who would listen, about some old lady who blared her car horn at him just because he had Alberta plates. He was incensed and insisted it was only because he had Alberta plates. He had stopped in the middle of his driving lane to chat with someone he knew...she pulled up behind him and honked her horn and flapped her arms. I told him it didn't have anything to do with the colour of his plates, it was the fact he had stopped in the middle of the driving lane to chat with a pedestrian...he was having none of that...it was only because of his Alberta plates. What can ya say?

He can still follow the east coast and mirror what they are doing down, there for non essential travellers.
