Has anyone worked on these sleds. I have a 75 with the electronic ignition. The motor was rough so i found a 440 in good shape but its the 440/21 not 440/22 like this. Will all ignition stuff cross over?

Guys im working on a ol ss just wondering what compression should be on this unit? Its the old points unit and can be tough to start. Cleaned points and checked everything there seems fine. Just a little tough to start. Thanks Steve.

I have a xm with a 48/36 secondary helix. I find my rpm is fairly close but in some deep powder i have be on 3-4 on clickers. I like to stay down in lower numbers do you think a 50/33 would slow it down a smidge. Or should i go to like a 47-33?

Anyone running these big bores? Haven't heard much about them yet

Im working on a f3 600 triple to rip around here. You guys remember what cranking compression should be? 120 ish? Im getting 110 on two and 105 on pto. Seems a smidgen low. Thanks Steve

I just installed 3" track 9116m into xm with 7tooth avid drivers. I notice in on spot just at start of driver the track lug just Knicks tunnel brace at top. Anyone have this before? I'm thinking new t3 has longer case.

Has anyone ran both styles?i hear the. Old track works better despite being 10lbs heavier?

It seems to me that this new light weight 800cc (and even 4strokes) just don't seem to last. We have had a Quite afew 800rs in our little shop blown to bits. These are primarily 3500ish km machines which in my books is low km. I thought it was brp exclusive but after talking to engine builders...

Well just came back from first run in revy and I have to say very impressed with xm. It works as good as my old 1000 which was also there. The added benefit of 100 lbs lighter. Didn't think the xm would be that good it did impress me. Set clickers on 3 and never changed them.

Anyone know spring rates on the new xm.

My sons 07 summit 800 has no spark when cold(left outside)?Then when you bring it in shop and warm up the way it goes??Does that sound like cdi box starting to go?? :help:

Well just weighed new 163 xm sp with full tank of fuel?According to our local racetracks car scales it weighs in at 540 full of gas!!Not bad a full 100 lbs lighter than the old popcorn popper.Now just got to get driver in shape!!:woohoo1:
