07 summit not starting when cold

My sons 07 summit 800 has no spark when cold(left outside)?Then when you bring it in shop and warm up the way it goes??Does that sound like cdi box starting to go??

The main relay is bad.

Relay warms up and makes contact.

I guess one other this is Ur ecm ( computer ) still mounted up front over the pipe ???

Any one with that still up there should move it to above the oil tank ( where the old mem pem used to go ) cause too much moisture can get into the plug in ect over the pipe.

Well everyone checked and changed main relay not it. Swapped computer not it? Then figured stator not it ? Must hhave connection or ground somewhere screwed enough to drive a guy nuts? Put in shop for 20 and boom the way it goes?

Did u change the relay with the short harness ??

Yes took one off another sled here.

check the coil, and wires going to the coil. Had a 2006, and a 2008 with same issue last season. 08 was frayed wires at connector on coil, 06 was bad coil.

Well everyone it ended up being the Dess receptacle ? Put different one in and the way she went!!
