I just installed 3" track 9116m into xm with 7tooth avid drivers. I notice in on spot just at start of driver the track lug just Knicks tunnel brace at top. Anyone have this before? I'm thinking new t3 has longer case.

The T3 has a 27 mm longer case, but with the 7t drivers there should be enough room. I just put the 9225M (156 x 3") on my 2013 XM and its tight but fits. From what I've read there will be a bit of rubbing the odd time but nothing too bad.

Thanks artic. My sons been thinking of that 156 3" on his trygstad 872 rev. He has the 150x 2.5 and was getting some serious track speed lol. I'll try this the way it is if it's rubbing to much I'll try case. Thanks. I bumped gearing up a tooth.

Took it out for a 13 mile ride yesterday with the new 156 3", no rubbing and was a lot smoother than I was expecting. Really happy with it. Lots of traction and no cooling issues (was 146). I'm running the T3 driveshaft with skidoo 7 tooth drivers, not Avids if that makes any difference

Is yours a 13 also? No it shouldn't make a difference unless that track is 2.86 pitch. 2.86x7 = 20.82 diameter and 3"x7 = 21 inches. So it would be a lil smaller.

Thanks. Yes should be same diameter. I
measured old track and it's 2.65 from
inside to Lug tip. The new one is 3.15 from inside. So quite a difference

Did you grind the long rivets at the front of the tunnel?

I didn't grind any rivets. I looked at them all and contemplated grinding, but decided not to, no rubbing issues even when suspension is compressed. Works really well. Got it all from Specialty Motorsports in Edmonton
